Redskins Roundup: Going For Green Bay

I still have some bones to pick after the Philly game, but first here's some links for your reading pleasure as I prepare my rant against several Redskins who just aren't getting it done so far this season.

106.7 the Fan's Grant Paulsen previews the showdown vs. the Packers with a few quick hitters.

Clinton Portis will likely miss this week's contest with a groin injury, suffered in the second half of the Eagles game.

Should the Redskins extend Donovan McNabb's contract? Tough to say considering it's only been four games, but I tend to agree with Mister Irrelevant. Don't rush it.

A little point-counterpoint with CSN's Rich Tandler.

Ryan O'Halloran of CSN continues his terrific work logging snap counts for the entire Redskins team. I'll be using those number quite a bit for reference this year.

Dan Snyder was featured on ESPN's E:60 last night. Here's a take from E.B. of the Sports Junkies. And one from DC Sports Bog.

The Om Field gives us a great piece on the transition from Zorn to Shanahan which you can read on Hail Magazine in its entirety by subscribing to Hail (simply click on the link at the end of the article).

SI's Don Banks with his column on McNabb's return to Philly.

Some Donovan quotes from his radio interview with ESPN 980 on Tuesday.

Some words straight from McNabb's blog as well. Here's a snippet:

"While I tried to make this seem like a normal week against an NFC East opponent, I must admit, it was anything but normal"

Peter King's offensive player of the week? None other than Donovan McNabb.
